Why a Youth Club Experience can help your child and also your family!
Parents with young children are busy trying to fast-track academic learning and other out of school activities. They have no time left for the personal and character development of their young child and try to teach this when it is too late.
Planning ahead is the way to go!
Parents of kids who are older are becoming very concerned about the way their children are handling decision making, values, money, relationships, sexuality, social media and the need for respectful attitudes towards their parents. Often, your children are growing in a culture and environment that is very different. Both parents and children find it confusing.
Laying a foundation in your child’s early years that teach respect, spiritual values and personal responsibility is the key. No parent wants their children to fail or be “repaired” when it is too late. The Bible has a wise principle, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Games, Sports, Camps...
ICF provides a safe, fun and nurturing environment where teenagers can feel safe and loved for who they are, can have fun, make friends, and work through issues of life and faith. We hang out together, read the bible and pray for each other, go on fun outings like laser-tag, water sports, movie and video nights.
Learning about God
We strongly believe that it is “Better to Train the child than repair the man!”
Life is a journey, with its ups and downs. Our youth needs direction, a sense of belonging, support and encouragement in tough times. ICF is passionate about seeing youth engage with the love of God and be transformed by the Holy Spirit’s presence.
